If you haven't been there recently "Check it out". New art, new booths and a new attitude. Like a pair of well worn jeans the G and G is nothing but comfort and delivers on atmoshphere and ambiance. Whether you are looking for some good values on vintage wines or some boutique brewed beers on tap, this place delivers. Since the bistro closed its doors a couple of months ago the "G" spot is picking up the slack with their expanded food menu and the anticipation of their hand tossed pizzas in their brand new pizza oven.
Mike Jensen and his wife Jenna are the owners and also residents of Somersett. Check out the interview that was done by the local CBS affiliate KTVN channel 2.
Starting in June on Friday nights the Grape and Grain will be featuring local bands in the outside amphitheater just outside of this local Somersett Tavern and eatery. They will be starting with the elusive "Jakes Garage Band" featuring local guitar efficionado Jake Armer formally of "Armer and the Hot Dogs" who has opened for ELO and Foreigner.
